DESCRIPTION
SARIDON TRIPLE ACTION 450 TABLET
Indications / Uses
Relief of pain eg mild to severe headache, toothache, menstrual discomfort, post-op & rheumatic pain, pain & fever associated w/ colds & flu.
Dosage / Direction for Use
Adult 1-2 tab. Adolescent 12-16 yr 1 tab. May be taken up to 3 single doses w/in 24 hr. Do not take for >1 week or at doses higher than recommended.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to pyrazolones or related compd, phenylbutazone-containing products, paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid or proven allergy to caffeine; inherited G6PD deficiency (evidenced by hemolytic anemia), acute hepatic porphyria. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr or infants.
Special Precautions
Hepatic (eg chronic alcohol abuse or hepatitis) & renal impairment; Gilbert’s syndrome (fluctuating benign jaundice secondary to glucuronyl-transferase deficiency); hematopoietic dysfunction. Do not take regularly for prolonged period. High doses of paracetamol-containing analgesics; continual use for the treatment of headache. Asthma, chronic rhinitis or urticaria.
